Playground Pants & Overalls - PDF Sewing Pattern

This PDF sewing pattern features 2 views whose silhouettes look so different it's almost like 2 patterns in one.

First, there's The Playground Overalls. They feature a wide cropped leg, and rise that fits at the natural waist. The pleated waist provides space for the roomy side seam pockets, and hidden inside the pocket is the zipper closure. The bib straps tie to the back waistband and cinch up the waist, allowing you to tighten or loosen as you please.

Then there's The Playground Pants. They feature an elastic and drawstring waist, the same wide and cropped leg as the overalls, and of course, roomy side seam pockets. They are loose fitting in the hips for total freedom of movement.

Extra design options are the tapered cuffs that you can add to either the pants or the overalls, and Ohio Star knee and pocket patches that can be added to either view as well.

Detailed instructions are included for each view and for both extra sewing options. (Yes, even detailed instructions and templates for the Ohio Star patches!) Want to make elastic pants with knee patches and tapered cuffs? How about overalls with knee patches and no cuffs, or overalls with cuffs and no patches? Or no cuffs, no patches. . .
